The fruit of the coriander plant contains two seeds which when dried, are used as the dried spice, when ripe the seeds are yellowish- brown in colour with long ridges, the seeds are available whole or ground. They have a fragrant flavour that is reminiscent of both citrus & sage, they are very good source of dietary fibre & a good source of iron & magnesium. Can be used in Asia & Indian recipes.
